Esther Abrami is an award-winning concert violinist, educator, and influencer.
Described as a 'rising star' by Strings Magazine and as a 'glamorous and influential star' by Pianist Magazine, French violinist Esther Abrami has performed in world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall in New-York, the Wiener Konzerthaus, and Leeds Town Hall.
She has recently performed as a soloist with the Jugend Symphonie Orchester Tulln in Vienna, the Yorkshire Young Sinfonia, and Hertford Symphony Orchestra in the UK, as well as with Orquesta de Cámara del INFAO and Xalapa Filarmonia in Mexico and the Brooklyn Metro Chamber Orchestra in New York.
Esther has given solo recitals worldwide in venues such as Stephansdom in Vienna, Salle Cortot, the British Embassy and UNESCO in Paris, Flagey and BOZAR in Brussels as well as across the United States at Louis Meisel Art Gallery in New-York, Parrish Art Museum in the Hamptons, and Dixie State University in Utah.
Esther has been featured on TV shows, including Sky News, CBS News ‘Inside Edition,’ CNN News, Abu Dhabi TV, Antena 3, and NOS Jeugdjournaal. Her captivating performances have also been broadcasted on BBC Radio 3, Classic FM, and was named ‘Young Artist of the Week’ by presenter Angelica Bell on Scala Radio.
Additionally, Esther has appeared in international newspapers and magazines such as The Daily Mail, USA Today, La Republica, Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, Times Now, NDTV, Republic World, Europa Press, and Yahoo News.
With over half a million followers, Esther's extensive and ever-growing following via social media has inspired thousands of children and teenagers across the globe with little or no access to classical music. She was the first classical musician to be nominated for the Global Awards in the category ‘Social Media Superstar.’
Esther has held multiple masterclasses and talks at the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez in Mexico, St. Dixie State University in Utah, Texas Christian University, the Summa Cum Laude International Music Festival in Vienna, Stradfest in London, and to the Yorkshire Young Sinfonia in Leeds.
She is also an ambassador for the charity Tutti Passeurs d'Arts, which brings music to kids in schools from deprived areas in France. She gives them regular music lessons and performed with them at the EU Parlement in Brussels, representing El Sistema Europe.
After studying at the Aix-en-Provence Conservatoire in France and Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, Esther graduated with honors from the Royal College of Music and is now completing a master’s degree at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the guidance of Wen Zhou Li, where she has been awarded a full scholarship.
